i wasnt trying to cause war. goth isnt generally a genre of music. just labelled so because the band members are goths, or pretend to be, or dress like that or whatever. not a genre

he is right, goth is a style, however just like emo it has become a genre for no apparent reason.im guessing its probably used because "goth" as they call it most likely is to describe the dark methods int he music

Brian!! you're not emo!!! who called YOU emo?! .. did they mix you up with Rob?... hmm well I call Hollie emo to piss her off (as she does have an emo fringe) and when certain people go on about how everybody hates them and they feel so alone (when they're really not) and when they go around being all: blahh i want to die." and such.. then yes- i will call them emo and laugh. I saw REAL emo people in Dublin on Thursday.. oooh so great. i wanted to take pictures so i could model my sister off them.. i want her to be emo so i can say i have an emo sister.. i'll get there- don't doubt me yet mmmm.. yeah i have been repeatedly been called a "goth" and "mosher" by scobes and knackers.. i am not a goth, goths are scary... and yes I mosh when i go to gigs.. so i don't understand why that's an insult.. :/ we do mosh.. whatever.. i'd rather be a "goff" than wear a white tracksuit with lovely big gold earrings.. *shudder* *hugs*

or a "rok chik".........
they bug me so much more than emos or anything else!!! all these f**king generic teeny boppers picking up guitars and saying they play and bopping along to the f**king bratz dolls playing something. kelly clarkson or avril lavigne for example. even if they can play(though it is brought into considerable doubt) they are still pains in the ass! they mix emo and pop and call it rock! wake up and smell the change! ROCK IS THE NEW BUBBLE POP!!!!!! there i f**king said it!!!!!

i don't really think i fit into any of those stereotypes...not enough to pull it off. what do the public think i'd be best labeled? that's kinda difficult actually. i reckon hard rocker, borderline goth because of all the black, but not sullen enough to be a goth...
