~Ive realised soemthing ive been thinking about for a long time.
J.A.C.K.S FAITH
is no longer a band
but an idea.
We havent practiced in Aaaaaaaaages, we ahvent played together or even jammed in anyway at all. this is why i think of it as an idea of a band , rather then an actaul band itself. If someone, anyone, thinks that there is a worthy reason we shoudl remain together, well and good.
J.A.C.K.S FAITH had its day ( and what a day it was!) and now its past its prime......its been a pleasure playing with the lads and lassy.
But i think its over and the yr and a bit was a great big laugh.
so *tips cap*....been a pleasure......

man,JF was my family for such a long time.it sux to see it go but if one member seeks their time to go,i dunno,it's shocking. You never respect something until it;s gone.man as i think of all the times we played.the everyman(though only for 2 songs),school, limerick, cobh, blarney, everywhere, now seems like the greatest memory i have.
To all band members, you rock,i have never enjoyed music so much caz it was with you guys.i never considered that i would get to play with such skilled people.
and to those who have supported us,it means the world even now. best stop before i sound like accepting an award.too late

i tried to post last night but got impatient. i just wanna say i also cant believe its over but well done to james for respected adms decidion. i also just wanted to say i really enjoyed the band. i mean i loved hearing ye play. it always made me smile, not because it was a happy song or whatever but because it really worked. id also like to say that playing with ye guys was a great expierience and if it wasn't for ye being so kind as to invite me to play i wouldnt be going out with emma. so i guess the band worked wonders in more than one way. finally i would like to say r.i.p jacks faith and may it long live in our memories.

maybe JUST MAYBE (ie. don't eat my head off for saying this) it's for the better?
within jacks faith i've seen alot of good times, but alot of bad ones. and in recent times it all seemed kindof bleak. there was this kindof dissatisfaction lurking in the backround. is it too far out to assume that for some members jacks faith became a job that had to be done?
when your in secondary school, then a band should be something you do for fun. personal satisfaction. you play the music you like, the songs you like. maybe somewhere on the way delusions of something more distracted everyone from what it's all about?
i'm not bashing here, by the way. i'm pointing at that silver streak in the seemingly grey sky.
so a toast to the fun of music, and the rise and fall of jacks faith.
